| What?!! I am in shock! When I googles the difference between chicken and chicken meal I was given the definition of one being wet chicken and the other being dehydrated chicken. Not bones or by-products. Usually a bag will state it having the meat and then the meats by-products as Pedigree does.

| I went from feeding Royal Canin alone to mixing it with 50/50 with Wellness about 2 months ago. But after a few weeks, some of my dogs start having allergies. They really like it but Astra and Tom Pouce got runnier eyes and also itchy skin. It all got so confusing, I start doing a lot of research about kibbles, free grain kibbles, home cooking, BARF, etc. So I have been feeding them REAL FOOD for a few days now and they love it . Turkey wigs, chicken drumstick, cottage cheese, eggs, can of salmon,a little fruit and vegetable but mostly protein. I just grab some frozen chicken NV medallion today and will gave them some tomorrow... Astra is a little picky for now about the raw meat but my 4 other ones went crazy for the turkey wigs yesterday. They have also lost all interest for their boll of kibbles... So I think my dogs basically have made their own choice and I am going to go with it. |
