| Treats for Sadie Hi there, I just got my yorkie Sadie on the 14th of August. She is wonderful, starting to understand potty training and has learned how to sit I am teaching her 'shake' and other paw. She sleeps through the night and I couldn't be happier with her! I am feeding her Puppy Gold by Fromm which is one of the best foods to feed dogs. I am wondering what I can give her for a chew treat. I have little treats by Fromm and Zukes but I want something that she can chew on. A friend gave her a rawhide when I was gone which I know is very bad for them so for now I just let her lick it and not chew any pieces off. I will be heading to the local Bark and Fitz to find something soft that will take her a while to chew but I wanted to ask if anybody had any ideas of something all natural/organic with no chemicals or anything that I could give to her? Thanks so much!! |

| I use pet botanics training rewards. You can get a pretty big bag at petsmart for not too much $. I also use cheerios (plain) for treats, too. I only use those two treats for training mainly. For something to chew I recommend getting a Kong and stuffing it with either their stuffing or peanut butter. I also have the Kong puppy bone that has places to stuff the end, and I can fit the pet botanics treats in there. Also, if your furbaby likes squeaky toys, Kong makes a low-stuffing small stuffed animal with a squeaker. Sophie LOVES hers. She doesn't chew in it but she will run around squeaking it all day! |
