| Mickey's Gums Bleed :( I feel like I am failing as a mother Mickey's breath has been really bad lately and I will be honest I have been lax on his teeth brushing. I just got finished brushing his teeth and his gums were bleeding. I read in another post that this is not a good sign. I emailed my vet to price out teeth cleaning but I am so nervous to put him under since he is so over weight and going through so much right now with the change of foods. What should I do?

| That should stop if you continue to brush often. Does he have a lot of plaque build up?
