| She prefers the vet food over her regular food. :/ I had to take Sasha to the vet a couple of weeks ago because she had been vomiting and had a runny stool. Her blood work came back normal and Parvo test came back negative (thank goodness!). It was deternined that she must have eaten something that didn't agree with her so the vet put her on a bland diet of canned Hills Prescription diet for 5 days. She was on Innova dry with a little Merrick wet. When it was time to slowly introduce her back to regular food I noticed she would eat around it. When I transitioned to 75% regular and 25% vet food she wouldn't eat it at all! She actually flipped the bowl over with her nose in protest! So I continued to mix 50/50 and she eats it. What do I do?? I can't believe she prefers bland prescription diet over yummy grammy's pot pie...lol. I can't have her on vet food for good can I? Maybe it's time I introduce her to a new wet food altogether? Thank goodness she still seems to love the Innova kibble. |

| Was it I/D? I wouldn't use an RX food unless it is necessary. There are a lot of "interesting" ingredients in some of those SD foods though that dogs probably find appetizing.

| Yes it was. I wasn't too thrilled about putting her on it but at that point I wasn't in a position to question the vet. She did say most dogs love it. I guess I'll have to find another wet food for her. She's been on her current one for a quite a while anyway. I guess this was her way of saying enough is enough...lol |

| Try California Natural in a can (lamb & rice). Even though Merrick sounds wonderful to us my dogs soon turned on it also. I have had the best luck with CN.
