| Question About Potatoes Hi,I had a quick question about potatoes, when I am peeling potatoes for dinner, Teddy begs for a bite. He absolutely loves raw potatoe slices. I just wanted to make sure that letting hime have a piece now and then is okay. thanks, Linda (Teddy's Mom) |

| I really have no idea personally, but my mom cooks home-made dog food for the labs and she says that she read the only good potatoes for them were sweet potatoes. Might want to do some checking up on it around the internet, let us know what you find! Good Luck!

| potatoe question thanks, will do some google searching and see what i can find. I see you have a black & white kitty named Scooter. Me too, I tell him all the time he is a handsome fellow. I just have to touch him and he will start purring like crazy. Lately he has figured out when the dogs get their treat, he just has to sit on the table and demand his also. linda |

| I don't know if this helps but I feed Natural Balance..or actually I just started` it has potatoes in it and on the back it is listed as the single premium quality carbohydarte, rich in potassium and highly digestible energy source...it's an ultra premium food so I think a slice here and there would be okay

| None of my animals have ever eaten raw potatoes.. so I was VERY surprised when I dropped one on accident one day and Chloe gobbled it up.. that girl eats anything though.

| I have not been able to find anything saying potatoes are a no-no, so I will limit it to an ocassional treat. I don't think that will hurt him. Linda |
