| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I was intrigued and had to try these for my fellas. They LOVE them - I got both the regular and the Hextra. And here's the thing...they *are* different from regular rawhide...I don't know how to explain it really. Even though they are nice and chewy, they are also somehow "crumbly", and they seem MUCH softer/different than regular rawhide. Wylie, who is 7 lbs right now and a very aggresive chewer, finished his in 3 minutes - lol - so I think I'll get him the bigger dog size next time. What was neat is that Marcel was able to CHEW this product. His mouth is so tiny and he can barely damage 98% of chews. With this one, he was able to chew and consume the whole thing - it lasted about 4 hours for him (some of that time he was just trotting around w/ it, which is a large part of his entire process). Anyway, glad I read this thread - thanks!

| Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i bought the medium ones and they aren't the least bit crumbly. i think the small dog ones are a little different for some reason. a while ago i had the petrodex petite/small dog ones and they were the crumbly looking kind. well sad to say but morgan has lost interest in these chews... pain in my butt that girl...

LOL, Marcel loves to bury...except he'll sit right on my upper chest, and bury it....it plain sight, of course. He needs some mentoring in that area .

Only bought the petite once. It wasn't worth it, my kids went through them in a couple of minutes.

| My Tommy is about 10lbs. Should I try getting him the medium sized ones? He's had 2 sample sizes from the vet and he likes them alot. He doesn't have all his teeth, but based on the size he had ( maybe 3-4in) it took him about 5min to finish it fully. |
