| Strange hard kibble food question.... size I have been experimenting with Max and what foods he likes. The choices are: Wellness Small Breed Adult Wellness Chicken (purple bag) and Innova (chicken-green bag) Small Bites. He seems to ALWAYS eat the Wellness Chicken first. Is there a problem with a 6.5 lb dog eatting the bigger bite size pieces of the Wellness Chicken? The pieces seem huge compared to the small bite types. The Innova Chicken Small Bites does not seem that different from the Wellness Chicken (purple bag) except Innova has turkey. Also of these 3 types which is the best brand/type?

| Jackson prefers Innova and the larger kibbles. He's never liked the tiny kibbles -- lol, but he's also 14lbs so a bit bigger than your Max. But he likes to have something more to chew.

| Maybe Max thinks the Wellness Chicken is a bone or treat because it is really big for him him-LOL But he likes it. Maybe I should try the Innova regular size instead of the small bites?

They're triangle shaped, and they're thinner than the regular Wellness for sure.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | the regular wellness kibble is really not that big, neither is the innova. Morgan's eaten both with no problem and she's 4.5lbs. it doesn't matter what size the kibble is as long as they can crunch it up. the bigger pieces provide more of a workout for the jaw i think.
