kennel cough and seller's responsibility

I had a problem and my breeder wsn't going to do anything either. I called the city hall of her town,she ndidn't have a liscense and wasn;t suppose to be breeding dogs,when I said I was going to report her and go to small claims court,we split the bill which I told her I would do,she paid me in payments which was fine.

And the other one that came with coccidia made me so mad. But i read about it and its really hard to get rid of because it isn't killed with bleach or cleaners you have to steam clean and fire clean to kill it. Is very common because it is so hard to get rid of. but she did pay for the medicine im just mad she didn't tell me because she knows her dogs have it. now im worried about my other dogs getting it. IDk dogs are like kids that's all i got to say they get sick with little things like this. As long as its not life threatening or a huge medical expense people should expect things to happen. its not all the breeders fault. she should have been nicer to you though. im not sticking up for her or anything just giving another view on the situation.

Sorry I don't agree with this to a point...a good breeder would already know her/his dogs have these problems because they would have the dogs to the vet for puppy checks etc. It is the breeders fault for ringworm, coccidia (if they are not keeping a clean environment and it will just continue on and on. The puppies would show signs of this before being shipped to you. I realize that stress will provoke this but if you talk to reputable and I mean really reputable breeders they might have it once but they attacked the problem and they don't have it anymore.

im glad you did this. i think too many of these breeders/sellers get away with this. they have to be held accountable for the sick puppies they sell
