| Thanks so much for the info. I believe there are a lot of dangerous chews out there for our precious little yorkies. I remember when I first tried the Greenies I had a case of the runs all the way around with all of my babies. The things looked like they were not digested properly. Does anyone have any recommendations on bones that are safe for them? My babies love their bones but so many different kinds end up giving my babies upset tummies. |

| I personally don't know of any that are safe. Mine are both very aggressive chewers, and they always chew everything up and swallow the pieces. So, that scares me. Even if they say "edible", "completely digestible", etc. Who or what can you trust? If you have yorkie babies, then the harder chews are probably safe, as they can't chew them up as well as the older yorkies. My girls are so unhappy that they can't have greenies anymore. Poor things. They just don't understand. They have always had a piece of one before they went to bed at nite. Now I just give them one of their treats. I went to Petco the other day and got $31 worth of different treats! There were about 8 different kinds. Out of all of those, they only like about 3! Oh, what's a yorkie mother to do! |

| Donating YT 14K Club Member | They have the Smart Greenies now which are made of rubber and are watermelon flavored. They don't break apart like the normal greenies...it's more like a chew toy.

| Have you tried them? Do they like them? I saw them in the store, but I was afraid that my aggressive chewers would chew them up! Any thoughts on this? |
