| We use several supplements that are all capsules that get opened up. We use The Honest Kitchen food and the supplements (probiotic, superfood, coat formula) all get mixed in with the food. Coconut oil gets added at night (which they LOVE). Coconut oil (virgin, organic) is a wonderful supplement for the coat and it has many immune system support properties as well. You liquify it and either mix with food or just let them eat as they love the taste.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I mix it in w/ their raw food. If one supp. sneaks its way out, I put some PB on it and they eat it right up.

| I give Cosequin in the liver treat chewable - Chelsea loves it and thinks she's getting her very own 'special' treat! Alex has had to take multiple pills daily for years. I just put his in a little dab of cheese whiz & he laps it right up. This is his 'special' treat. For the younger ones, if it is going to be long term, I either push it down with my finger or use a pill plunger/pusher thingy.

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | I don't give any to Tia , should I? Is it because your babys are older that they are having them , Tia has just turned a year old so Im guessing she doesn't need them right?

| Some people give supplements for joint problems, some for skin & coat problems, some because they've been doctor prescribed. Good diets should provide for regular health needs. If little Tia is healthy and happy then you probably don't need to be giving her anything.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Izzy also gets a ton of supplements which we all add to a "meatball" concoction..lol. With her pancreatitis/SIBO/IBD she is on a RX canned (Purina EN) and I just take a little of that and add all the supplements to it and roll it into a ball. If she is fussy and not taking that..I roll the meatball into low-fat sprinkle cheese..that does the trick.
