| Tramadol - now a controlled substance As of August 18th ability to get Tramadol from your vet may change. Depending on your vet, their office procedures, and your state you may no longer be able to get this as a take home med from your vet hospital. However, vets will be able to call it into a pharmacy (with limited refills) if they have a DEA number. We stocked up on ours yesterday before buying in large quantities is forbidden. Tramadol to become Schedule IV controlled substance

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Wow, what a bummer it's now possibly going to be a big hassle to get a widely used med for pets . Not cool.
