| "Grizzly Salmon Oil" users Hello We got our bottle of "grizzly salmon oil" Saturday...the smell is fishy, I expected that, but it kinda smelled like old oil to me. I have never smelt fish oil, so I am not sure how it should smells. Is this how it smells? It says it wont expire till next year. And Jeffers shipped it quick, like in 3 days it was here. Do you all like this product or not? If not what brand are you using for the Omega? I just pray this is her answer to the chewing on her feet.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I use Ark Naturals Royal Coat - and it's the best fish oil I've ever tried. I like it bc it has the fatty acids DHA/EPA (from fish), but also has fatty acids GLA/LA (borage oil), which are so beneficial for atopy / skin. Also, you must supplement w. Vit E when giving fish oil, and this one already has the E in it. Do you think the chewing is seasonal?

| Thanks W'sMom I am not sure if it is seasonal or not as this has now been on going since last Oct. We have done everything but run the allergy test. I will later but for now I want to do natural things first. Cut out whats causing the bad chewies is what I am thinking... I am thinking wet grass is one too. So today I stated wiping her paws dry when she comes back in froim pottying.

| Oops I forgot Vit E oil...No I did not know about that, but in the 80's when it became popular to use for everything under the sun....my then druggist said to be careful cause you can get a build up in the tissues of the body. Causing other problems. I don't remember what they were though. I think I will go look that up now. Thanks

YT 3000 Club Member | I have used it for chester for awhile now, and yes it smells fishy, very salmony. Chester has allergies so the vet suggested it, and it has helped his itches. Chester has great hair so it does make a difference. |
