| Our Twinkie had her first dental yesterday. She had two teeth pulled and is having to eat soft food for two weeks. She also was sent home with some pain meds and an antibiotic. Is this pretty standard? She is okay, just a little under the weather. When can I start with the teeth brushing again? Pam |

| Yes, that sounds exactly right. Two weeks is a bit long to for soft food if you don't normally feed it though. I got the okay to start brushing at Ellie's recheck about 10 days after surgery.

| The vet tech said about 10 days, as well. Twinkie will be done with the antibiotic by then. |
