| Iams Smart Puppy Proactive Health.. After lurking around a bit I've read that a bunch of people try to stay away from IAMS foods. I'm currently feeding my 11 week old Iams Smart Puppy Proactive Health (for small breeds). He LOVES it, eats every bit of it (I follow the feeding instructions for daily feeding on the bag). And my vet actually recommended this food for him.. Is it necessarily a bad food, or just not optimal to feed? He's at a good weight, happy, and acting like a puppy should! I will eventually switch, but I just opened a medium sized bag, and I dont want that to go to waste... |

| Some people dont like to buy Iams because they do animal testing. Some because some of the ingredients are substandard. I wouldnt waste a bag of food over it though. If you want to switch switch when you are almost done wsith this bag because you will want to do ikt gradually adding some of the old food with the new. The whole key is finding a good quality food that your pup will eat

| Here is a list of some premium dog foods. Maybe you could email them for samples so you can find one your pup likes. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...e-samples.html
