| Any 1 else's baby only eating ONCE a day? Just wondering how many times a day your fur baby is eating a day! At 2 years old, Charley only wants to eat ONCE a day. I tried feeding her twice and even free feeding, but she only eats only ONCE. She does not eat the recommended amount on the bag either. Wellness says about 3/4 to 1 cup. but we are lucky if she gets 1/2 cup. I wonder if that is okay??? She is about 8lbs and 2 years old. |

| There is always food left out for all the dogs. They go by here and there.. I'm going to have to pay attention and see how much their eating... I don't know if they eat more treats or their food!

| Is she underweight? If not, the amount she is eating is probably fine. It really depends on the dog. I would offer food more than once a day or free feed, but if she refuses it, as long as she isn't going hypoglycemic, it should be okay.

| Sugar is somewhere around 3 pounds and its a struggle to get her to eat more than 1x a day. Lately she has taken to dashing for her food bowl at around 3am when we both go potty |

| Maybe your baby doesn't find her food appealing. I feed Honey Bear a diet of cooked plain ground turkey, rice or special k, carrots or broccoli, and yogurt w/probiotics all mixed together. She gets this in the am and evening. I supplement one feeding with enzymes, omega 3-6-9, and vitamin e oil and the other with yummy chummy salmon oil. I leave dry kibble out all day so she may free feed when ever she wants to munch. I also supplement with nutri-cal twice a day. She is almost five months old. When I got her at three months old, she wasn't eating a whole lot. My vet recommended a plain, natural diet in addition to her kibble. She eats like a horse now! She is on a good routine and knows that in the morning and evening she will get her tasty food. |

| I had the same prob. still have it. My Kiroshi is 4 yrs old now and I've alway had that prob. starting around 6mos of age. He never really gained much weight around that age and I was worried, but my vet, at the time, kept telling me it was fine. The vet said my yorkie was just eating as much as he needed to and that it was ok, since Kiro didn't act different. He was still super energetic and didn't seem sick, except for the occasional bile spit up. He's also 3lbs and I believe he should be heavier but he doesn't eat much even when I cook for him. I just make sure I give him something really nutritional, since he eats a little only. |
