| When I got my little Tia, she was 1 yr and would not eat the food the lady I bought her from gave to me. Try mixing a little (maybe a teaspoon ful) of Ceasar's can food. I crushed some of the dry food and mixed the canned with it and she gobbled it up. Maybe she is just shy and needs a little adjustment time. Also, you can always try boiled chicken & rice; they all love that! Good luck with your baby.....pictures please?? Btw, Welcome to YT!!

Sometimes my dogs get kind of picky over their kibble, but they always eat. We have rules set for them, they eat every evening at the same time, and they have 20 minutes to eat their dinner. If they eat it great, if not, it gets put up for the next day. They always eat the next day. A dog will not starve its self, so I wouldn't worry too much. What kind of kibble are you feeding? You may want to try a different kibble. My In Laws have gotten into the habit of switching their dogs food every time she turns up her nose at whatever flavor she has this week. I don't recommend doing that.

dog won't eat My Gaby is a fussy eater too. She had tummy problems from when she was a wee puppy, so I'm used to trying different brands of dog foods from my vet. I never feed her off the table, even if you are despirate. Gabs sometimes wouldn't eat for days, which drove me demented! We still go through phases when we get sample packets of food to see what she fancies and then we are fine for a month or 2. I take the fussiness as normal. I've had Yorkies for 20 years and they all seem to have their moments!

Have you checked her teeth and gums? 1 year is young for dental issues but when my Sugar wouldn't eat anything but moistened kibble I looked at her gums - they were pretty red and swollen! We did some quick dental intervention.....and now she STILL prefers wet food...but will eat dry kibble when forced to

Food My Yorkie is a picky eater also. She will sometimes eat Ceasar's dog food. When I give her this she has started smelling like fish, even though the flavor is chicken. She stinks and I had to bathe her. Anybody else had this experience?
