The mystery of Hardly!
Hardly was very ill a month ago and seemed to recover completely.
Now he is eating and drinking, but has loose bowel movements at night.
The vet couldn't figure out what was wrong...how about you guys...any insights?

I don't have any suggestions. Just wanted to tell you that I am sooo sorry that your Hardly is ill. I knew my little Cocoa was ill but my local vet couldn't find it, either. I kept insisting that it appeared that she wasn't digesting her food. Her poo smelled like her food did before she ate it. My Pommie also acted as if it was food and not poo. Drove me nuts. She was losing weight. Finally a vet teaching hospital at K-State did some tests and found out she has EPI. She doing so much better. But it wasn't my local vet who made the diagnosis. So, I suggest that you go the next step and contact a larger veterinary hospital.
