| Puppy incontinence When we come home from work Toby is usually in his bed sleeping. When he wakens he usually pees in his bed. I think he gets a bit over excited and cant hold, cos he is pretty good at going on the pads. I have told hubby to be very calm when he comes in, and I think its helping. He held all last night, didnt waken at all, but then as soon as he wakened he peed all over his bed. He is crated with a puppy pad, so normally goes on the pad, or cries to get out. Its as if he had no control. Is this normal at 11 weeks, or do you think he will have a long term problem?

| Mika is now heading for 7mths and he started around 6mths to be able to hold his wee when greeting him. Everytime I came home he would get so excited he would just wee as he ran around . So I think Toby will grow out of it, as Mika did . I think keeping calm is also very important. It is hard but try to ignore him until he has done his business and then fuss him. Mika is totally house trained now. I am lucky enough to have a patio door onto the garden so he just runs in and out all day with the other dogs.
