| homecookers- i have a question For green veggies i give Layla- broccoli, beans (she hates these), pees and spinach - any other suggestions? |

| i am SO intimidated by squash- yes i know it is only a food- what kind?? and what do you DO With it??? Asparagus eh? I wanted to get that but wasn't sure if it was ok or not for dogs- not sure why i'd think that- how do you prepare it? |

| I also add shredded raw zucchini, green peppers (they love them) celery and apples.They like watermelon too !!

With asparagus, I usually steam it and cut into small pieces. I forgot my girls really like green pepper, too. They especially love it when I use it in omelets and then give them pieces of green pepper. You can steam this also.

| Bell peppers, celery, squash/zuccini, cauliflower Peas are okay but they don't really replace the veggie portion. They replace the starch/carbs portion. Although you would be okay with just peas instead of peas and a veggie...

| Brussels Sprouts Cut "stem off", and slice in half. Steam until tender and then I chop into small pieces |
