| FROMM dog food I am thinking of switching from Halo to Fromm whitefish and potato. I currently use a probiotic supplement. (Romeo has a history of anal gland issues and recently had a tumor removed from his anus) I use it to maintain good intestinal health. Fromm seems to contain a good amount of probiotics so maybe I can discontinue the supplement. Fromm Family Foods - Four-Star Whitefish & Potato Holistic Entree

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I hope your baby is doing well . I would not trust, at all, the amount of probiotic - for one, they can put very little in and claim the food is supplemented. But, keep in mind that probiotics are "live" things - so very few of them probably survived the dog-food processing. If your baby needs probios, I really would supplement. I use probios for my boys - it's a powder and very easy to give.

| My groomer actually gave me a sample of Fromm yesterday. It was Duck and Potatoe. She actually had wellness, california natural, eagle pack, and Fromm. The only one out of the 4 that Pasquale actually took from my hand was the Fromm. The others he just sniffed and walked away. Right now i have him on Natural balance...he likes it , but for some reason i think he likes the Fromm better. With the natural balance he'll take a piece and run to another room to eat it. With the Fromm...he gobbles at the bowl and doesnt move! I dont know...now i'm even more confused if i should switch or not. The Fromm ingredients do look good....however they do use chicken cartilage(Maybe thats why he doesnt leave the bowl) .....and i like to stay away from anything chicken for possible allergies.
