| How often to bathe Can anyone tell me how often I should bath my yorkie? I usually try at least once a week but people are saying that may dry out her skin. She doesn't appear to be scratching so I'm confused. I just like her to be soft and have her hair not look so oily. Any suggestions or thoughts would be welcomed. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I bathe Nolee once a week and have no problems! I believe every yorkie is different! So are very dry. Nolee happens not to be, so maybe your baby is not dry skinned!

| I bathe Laya once week and an now using Minksheen shampoo which I love. If I don't bathe her once a week she gets stinky and her head gets a little oily looking. I've tried going 2 weeks but it doesn't work for us.

Yorkie Yakker | question Does conditioner help if I bathe Dolce once a week ? Here the vet is telling us ...bathe him every 45 days !!!!!!!! Ah.....I don't think sooOOOooooOOOOooooo !!!!!!!!!! I do see see that his skin is on the drier side......we are using DERMO-VET Shampoo (it has Juniper Berry extract in it) which I think is made local here in Istanbul..and GREEN FİELDS ANTİ TANGLE CONDİTİONER and then PRO PET SALON freshening spray (coconut pineapple) for between baths. will see how this goes Dolce's Dad |

| I bath Duke once a week, especially now with the nicer weather out and he walks daily. I think it does depend on your baby's skin.

| I give my three a bath once a week. I use Royal Treatment which I love and it smells great. I also use a conditioner every time they get a bath and I spray them every time I brush them with a conditioning spray. They come in all the same scent. |

| I bathe mine about every 3-4 mos. No oily looking hair. They're pretty much inside all the time, other than getting to go out and play when it's dry outside, then it's like 10 minutes. They don't get the stinky dog smell. The groomer told me people are bathing them too much and washing out the natural oils they have in their hair. |

| I bathe mine every couple weeks, in the winter when it gets so dry here, it can go every 2 to three weeks. Of course there are small cleanups in between, and in the summer when someone finds something sweet and pretty to roll in, lol there will be a bath. One of mine is very sensitive to too much bathing and gets dry skin, one gets oily looking pretty quickly Look for all natural shampoo/conditioners for your baby, it helps

| In the winter, it winds up being once a month usually unless he got dirty outside or something. Now with the warmer months, it's been about once every two weeks. Depending all on weather though. There was some rainy weeks where he was getting it once a week.

| I bathe mine every 10 days or so. They are in and out all day long, so by then they need their bath.
