| Toby is almost 11 weeks old. His eyes are sort of a cloudy blue at times, but still sort of brown, not the deep intense brown that Millies were. Is this just still the puppy colour, and they should change, or is it something I need to look about. There is no problem with his sight at all, he can see all the treats I am giving him!

| I dont know if this is what you talking about or not, but Roman is 2 yrs old and his eyes arent the typical dark yorkie eye. They're more of a light chocolate color. I never really noticed how light his eyes were until we got our new yorkie, but they're definitely not the color of normal yorkie's eyes. As far as I know Roman can see fine and he's perfectly healthy, just has some light eyes for a yorkie. Heres some pics. If you click on them to enlarge, you should be able to see what I'm talking about. I hope this helps!

| Just had another look, and I think its that the black bit of his eye looks a bit blue. More like navy than black?

| Is it that color all the time or just when light shines on it?

| I'm not really sure, most of the time I look closely, the light is shining on it. I know puppies eyes shine blue for a while, but I have never seen this to compare against. He gets his jabs next week so I will ask the vet.

| hmm...im not sure then. I know human babies are usually born with blue eyes that stay for a few weeks, but i dont know about dogs. His eyes are probably hard to take a picture of since they're still dark right? It sounds pretty though....maybe you just have special yorkie!
