| Problem with Welliness Has anyone had a problem with Welliness? I just read where Wellpet bought them and Eagle Pack out. There have been several dogs get sick, one with a perforated stomach that almost died. The owner thought they had just gotten a bad batch of food but turns out they almost lost their dog from the food. I read where a couple of more people have had very sick dogs also from it. Scares me to death. I changed over to Royal Canine and have been also using Inovia. It gets to a point you wonder what all these foods are causing. |

| I'm glad I've gone to mostly making everything she eats. Retail dog food scares me. All the horror stories...... |

| I have had my 2 on wellness and they have been OK. However I decided to change them to California Natural, it is such a simple formula, with the least possibilities of allergies, or problems. The Wellness must have an ingredient in it that does not agree with Zander, 2-3 days after bathing him his hair would start getting very, very oily. I'm thinking it could be the flax seed or cottage cheese, not sure. He has been on Calif Natural in the past and he did not have the oily hair so I am sticking with CN. Thanks for the thread.

| Greattt! I just switched to Wellness from Before Grain because the protein levels were semi-high (32%) in B.G. and it worried me. He loves Wellness. I'll have to do more research on this because he seems to do well on it. I just can't make decisions with all these foods and what's best for my baby! I'm not going to take him off Wellness though because he loves it, it's a highly talked about food, I like the ingredients in it... so we'll see.

I have decided to stick with Natura because they make they make their own food at their own plant. I cannot trust companies that have other places make their products!!!! | |

| I have my two kids on wellness...Roman is eating the small breed adult and Mallie's eating their puppy food and they both get wet mixed it. Roman has been eating it for about a year and Mallie just since Saturday, but I've never had a problem. I better not have to change their food becuase I tried so many other premium brands of foods before I found one Roman would eat. Have they recalled anything? Or is it just being investigated at this point? Also do you know if it's the wet or dry and what formula? Thanks for letting us know about this.

| Max has been eatting Wellness Small Breed for 1 1/2 bags -4lb size(not sure how long that has taken but he is only 6.5 pds so it takes him a while to eat a bag). Anyway, I just started switching him over to Innova Small Bites (not EVO-too high protein for me for now) in the green bag. Not because he was having any health issues but because he is a bit bored with the food and I read somewhere that there food is processed or packed at Diamond . SOOO...I decided to go back to Natura Products since they do all of their own processing in their own plant. I think they do their own canned now to. I am starting with Innova (in the green bag) and then I will go to CA Natural if that does not workout. Already Max seems to be enjoying the change. He picks the Innova squares out and leaves the Wellness SB triangles on the floor-LOL
