| I think anything is better than nothing. Start there & add a brush gradually.Mine don't "like "it but they tolerate it. I can see a big difference when using petzlife.

| No, it isn't as effective as scraping the teeth with a brush. That said, if that's all you can do, then that's all you can do.

| I use a childs toothbrush for mine. Not to say that they like it any better but it is smaller. I got mine from dollar tree-I figured it wasn't a whole lot of money to try it. There is also finger/glove brushes that you can get. Maybe they won't seem as intimadating to use.

| Have you tried finger brushes, those rubber ones? It's kinda discreet...or you can use a small textured cloth. It's funny cuz Mimi hates toothbrushes & Momo loves 'em.

| I was going through the same thing last night. I can get Snickers' front teeth and canines with the small infant/toddler brush by lifting up his lips but the back is hopeless. I was going to get some guaze (sp?) and wrap my finger in it to try to brush the back. He hates it so much that most of the toothpaste just gets in his beard. Right now I have to just use my finger to get the back teeth. He just hates it. The raw we feed him is helping his teeth stay really white but I can see some build up that needs to be brushed. How often do you all brush your pup's teeth? I am at about once a week right now. I think I should try to do it more often???

| Awesome thanks...I figured the textured gauze would be way more effective than a smooth finger across the teeth, and the tooth paste is gritty as well so should do a decent job.
