| Pro Plan We like Pro Plan and my dog does really well with it. She is full of energy, has a glossy coat. the only time she gets sick is when the cat brings her a bird and she eats it or perhaps baby toads, we're not sure which. WE took her to the vet and the vet took all kinds of samples from her and could not figure it out. Said it could be the birds or toads, anything really. What company does the review? Who pays them to do the reviews? |

| I feed both of my dogs Taste of the Wild Roasted Fowl recipie but will be switching my oldest to Blue Buffalo Wilderness to hopefully gain some much needed weight and neither were listed. I did some quick calculations and came up with a score for both of them. Not 100% sure I am totally accurate but it gives you some sort of an idea. Taste of the Wilderness (Roasted Fowl) 111/100 A+ Blue Buffalo Wilderness 114/100 A+

| Check out petfoodratings.com and you'll be pleasantly surprised by his take on Chicken Soup...it is a really good food and reasonably priced although a little hard to find in kcmo. It is much less expensive than Science Diet and comparably priced to Iam's and is far and away a superior food. I feed it to both my Yorkie and my cat in their respective types and they love it. |

| I have my girls on Blue Buffalo for puppies...they will be a yr old on 10/28 and 11/3. When do you recommend I move them up to Adult food and I see Merrick's listed and just found out a feed store locally carries it so I'm wondering is the Merrick's listed the Adult or Puppy and should I change to it? |

| Thank you for this wonderful information. Switching food again due to learning about companies using Ethoxyquin in the processing of fish meal... which means it doesn't have to be listed in the ingredients. |

| Royal Canine I have fed Purina Beneful for years, until I saw this food grade chart. I went yesterday and bought a small bag of Royal Canine Yorkshire 28, all five love it! No more cheap dog food for my babies. I was really shocked by the low score it (Purina) had, and a little ashamed of myself for not being a better mommy to them.

| Nature's Variety This was a great post. I'd like to add to Nature's Variety Raw, which helps with bad breath too. They have kibble and canned also. If you read the ingredients, you'll find favor with it. The canned which I always thought was bad because of low protein, is high in NV. If you go to their website, the name with.com, there is a wealth of information and if you have questions and someone emails you, they also give food vouchers to try it. I am currently using the chicken raw and rabbit was suggested because it's more palatable. A rep can get ahold of you and answer any questions and give suggestitons. I was very impressed with them and my dog is doing very well on it. |
