I'm not familiar w/NutriSource, but here's a link. I think it's the lighter meat content that gives it a lower rating. If your pup is doing well on this food, I would stick w/it. This is great thank you. I change my babies food every 3 months so she's not board. She's currently on wanaewe which should be way up there on the list. I'll try and do the math when I get some time

Changing food every 3 months might be hard on her digestive system imho.

Because it's A well balanced hypoallergenic meal for adult dogs made with the finest organic ingredients. I am aware that it's low in protine. This is only her kibble that I leave down for her thru out the day. She eats primal raw food lamb, duck, and beef for her sorce of meat. The meat is what I changed every three months due to she develops food allegies if left on the same food to long. That's why I'm feeding her food free of chicken. She developed an allegie toward it after being on it for 6 months. I was directed by my vet to rotate her food every 3 to 4 months. I didn't go into detail because that post was only about kibble. She also eats ziwi peak, and Stella chews as part of her rotation. She seems to be doing good on wanawe. I'm still expermenting with kibble. If u have any ideas of hypoallergenic kibble or chicken free kibble I would love to hear about them since most kibble has chicken in it thanks.

I see, Thank You for going into it in detail. I had to find a chicken/grain/white potato free kibble w/a moderate protein level. We settled on Acana Grasslands & mine are all thriving on it. Acana is made by Champion Foods, also the maker of Orijen.

Thank u for your review on wanawe. Wow I wish I would have read that earlier this month before I bought her new kibble. I might end up not giving her kibble at all. I've spent so much money on kibble to only end up giving it away because she stops eating it after a while. I just give it to her to keep her teeth and jaws strong. Since little dogs tend to have teeth problems. Any sugestions? She loves to chew on flossies Cow tendons. Maybe i'll use those as an aid to keep her jaws strong and I'll take her to get her teeth professionally cleaned every so offten. And yes I do brush her teeth daily but it's hard to get those back teeth and I see some tarter build up

Since she's doing well on it & also on a rotation diet, I don't see why you need to stop giving it to her (unless she get's tired of it). She is getting enough protein from her raw food.
Mine hate teeth brushing lol! It's a wrestling match w/one & Princess girl makes these sad moaning sounds, I feel so bad for her. But it must be done...if you pull back her lip/mouth from the side (kinda like you want her to make a joker smile), it will expose her back molars. She'll hate it at first, but she'll get used to it.

My Toby was having Burns kibble until he was 9 months old ,then he went off it & i then tried him with Royal cannin mini. He is now getting fed up with this. Does anyone feed their yorkie with James Well Beloved, & if so what it is rated as, thought i might try Toby with some. thanks.......Tobys mum

In the spirit of full disclosure, here is some criticism of the grading system. I am really starting to believe that dog food conversations fall somewhere between religion and politics.

My little princess who is just a year old now also eats Inova and just recently i have noticed her breath smells really bad. Does anyone have suggestions of maybe another high quality food that wont make her breath bad? I dont understand why all of a sudden her breath stinks.... help
