| When is it okay? After the puppies are delivered to let the father come around? I don't know if there's any standard waiting time, so if anyone has any advice or experience please share. mandbsmom |

| I am sorry you were so stressed, but so happy you asked the question about your dogs, I have not posted sence the 8th of aug because I broke my back and was off the computer, but now I have a big problem, funny its the same as yours on babies having babies..while I was down she came in heat, sence she treated him so bad I really thought I could keep them apart, well I was wrong, they are sneekie little things, now I have 1 year old babies both male and female weigh in at 4lbs,they have gotton togeather 5 times and she is now done with him. I called the vet and was told to bring her in in 20 days..my big question is,if there are mini baby's in there sence mom is only 1 year old, do I regester them with akc, or not, I know she will be fine, sence our vet said so, she said worse situation will be a c section because of age, yet she also said she feels she wont need one,so what about akc,I thought they had to have 2 heats to regestar them, does anyone here know? any ideas, boy these teenagers can't be trusted..help |

| The puppies are here! Hi to all, just wanted to let you know that we had a healthy litter of four born on October 4th@ 3:00am. Bella's just fine and my pups (3 girls and 1 boy) are just as great as they can be. I am pleased as punch that my Bell delivered so seamlessly and that the pups are in good shape too. The birth wasn't as difficult as I thought it was going to be. I do have a questions though, so if anyone has any insite please advise. The parents both are not yet registered with the AKC (I still have their papers because apparently my husband never sent them off), so if I register them can I register my litter? Please advise. mandbsmom |

| CONGRATULATIONS!!! WOW...new babies!!! So happy to hear all went well!! Since you still have their paperwork I'm sure you can still register the parents (imagine...your babies are PARENTS!!), which doesn't take long to do and then you'd be able to register the pups before they are ready to go to their new homes. I believe you can even do the litter registration online to speed up the process. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to still register them.
