| Premade Raw Debacle Help! One of the downfall's of living in Mississippi is that I could only find 1 place around me that sold premade raw. I was so excited that this place was near me and I've been feeding Jamie NV Raw for about 16 months now. But since my supplier has been having trouble getting their NV Raw (probably because they are the only one in the whole area that carry raw). So now they will be carrying Oma's Pride Raw. I'm just not sure about it. Would ya'll mind taking a look at it and seeing what you think? Oma's Pride Home Jamie loved the NV Rabbit the best (before the China info came out) and they (Oma's Pride) does carry just ground rabbit meat/bone without the fruits and veggies. What should I do?

| I took a quick look at the website, and the thing that jumped out at me what the part which stated they don't believe any diet is 100% complete..... Does this mean you have to supplement as though you were homecooking? Or do you treat this as prey-model raw and hope you're getting the correct calcium/phosphorus ratios? Are the meat sources they are using antibiotic/horomone-free? Are they sourced from the USA? Also, where the heck is their guaranteed nutritional analysis? I personally feed the pre-made raw (Primal, specifically) to ensure my boys are getting a 100% complete diet. If I wanted to play scientist I would purchase meat and bone from my local butcher and supplement accordingly. I will keep an eye on this thread, I am really curious as to what others think

| Thanks for responding! I was wondering about those same things Amanda! I might have to look into getting food shipped to me. That just seems so expensive and I don't understand how the shipping works. I mean I would assume that someone would need to be home to accept delivery, but my roommate and I both work. Which primal variety do your boys eat Amanda? Do they have rabbit?

| When I was looking into premade Raw I asked a store about Oma's Pride. The lady there said it has no vitamins and minerals in it so I would need to supplement. I never really read the ingredients myself, I just didnt consider it once she told me that. |

| Jamie why don't you just make the switch to PMR? It would be so much less expensive and would make things easier, at least I think so. It's really not as bad as you might be thinking. Pm if you need help or advice! Theresa |

| UPDATE! I have now turned my precious cousin Mandy into a dog food runner. She lives in Louisiana with a store quite close to her that carries NV Raw (in ALL the "flavors"). So I just sent her there to buy me a months worth, so that when she drives up to visit this weekend she can bring it with her! It'll work out great because we usually see her about once a month!

| I missed this thread the first time around. I'm really glad you've found a solution! I feed NV raw, also, and would hate to have to stop feeding it. Congratulations!
