| I give Buddy tiny pieces of one when I eat one. He enjoys them. Licks his lips everytime I wouldn't give much because they can be binding I'm told. Tiny pieces here and there I think are ok. Never had a problem. |

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Me, too! I give Izzy tiny pieces when I get mine. This is one of the only treats that I can give her without her pancreatitis acting up. I've never had a problem with her.

| Bananas are fine for dogs. Many freeze dried raw dog foods have bananas. I've always given my dogs bananas without any problems. |

| I feed tiny pieces to mine as well and they love it. Would eat the whole banana if I gave it to them. Someone said it might bind, is this true? I have always been afraid it would do the opposite. Does anyone know for sure? |

| Mimi & Momo love bananas! I only give them a tiny bit...too much of anything will give them too much you know whats. It might sound gross, but we actually chew it for them & give it to them, like how the wolf mama will regurgitate their food for the pups. I noticed that esp for Momo, he'll just swallow it (or anything else I give him) & it'll come out whole in his you know whats. They also love chattiesmom's banana YY's.

| Laya runs away whenever she sniffs a banana! She acts like its the worst thing in the world. But I know plenty of dogs who love them.

| it would make sense as it is part of the diet you give kids who have the flu- but i imagine you would have to give your dog like a whole banana in order for it to plug them up! |
