| Donating YT 14K Club Member | In case this happens in the future, I would induce vomiting by giving hydrogen peroxide...the vet can tell you the amount by weight of dog. Also, Gracie got into some chocolate during Valentines. I had called the vet and they said to give LOTS of canned food. I did and she ended up being fine. Best of luck!

| Teddi got a hold of one of the milk chocolate Lindor truffles but only ate about 1/4 of it before I caught him with it. I called the vet immediately and they said that since he only ate a "little bit" compared to his weight (then 4-5 lbs), he should be ok. He became somewhat overexcited the entire night but other than that he was ok! I stayed up with him because I was so worried! Now I have a bottle of hydrogen peroxide just in case!

| Thank you all for your support and advice. I am happy to report that Oliver is fine and is completely out of danger. The only thing the chocolate did was make Ollie really hyper for a few days (really, really hyper... and along with hyper, comes BAD.. really, really bad! lol). It was a tough few days, I felt like I was going insane and literally had to leave the room to breathe deep so I could deal with him. I am sooo glad to have my (still bad, just not as bad lol) Ollie back, and sooooo grateful that he is ok.

| One day when I left the house, Chester jumped up on my dining room table and ate half of one of those big dark chocolate Hershey bars. He was acting fine, but just to be safe I called the Michigan State University vet hospital. The lady told me that a dog could eat two of those huge bars and be fine. (He was 7lbs at the time) I never had any problems with him. But you better believe I learned my lesson thinking he couldn't jump up on my table.
