| did you ever think you'd be happy about a dog pooping? lol Glad that he is settling in. Soon he'll be zooming around and wrapping you around his little paws...if he hasn't already.

| Congratulations on your new puppy. I have to agree with the other posters, kibbles n bits is not a good food. There are so many out there that are better. A good diet will make such a difference in the long run. Here's to many happy, healthy years with your new pup!

| lol!!! reminds me of when my aunt bought her Rat terrier, on the ride home they were all discussing what they would name the new puppy.. one wanted 8 ball because he had to black spots that were connected that looked like the number 8, and he got car sick also! and threw chunks all over my cousin and her brother said " I guess that settles it, His name is Chunks.." back to your puppy! He is getting used to his new surroundings, You could try picking up some nutra cal at the pet store. and walking him to stimulate a bowl movement!! that will usually help.!! and try switching his food slowly to a better food Kibbles and bits is not so good. Congrats on your new baby.... and welcome to YT

YT 3000 Club Member | He has been taken away from his home he has known and now he has you, so he will get more used to stuff, just love and cuddle him and he will get used to things. The breeder was feeding kibble and bits bad stuff, when he gets more settled try another food if you could, and do the process over a 7-10 day peruiod so their tummy does not get to upset. Alot of good foods, merrick, solid gold, wellness, innova are some of the good ones |

| I have to agree that Kibble & Bits is an awful food. There really are some good ones out there. Right now ours are enjoying Tiki Dog along with home cooked meals. Since we have been going through some major health issues with one of our yorkies, we have learned that although an occasional snack of Roast Beef or Turkey is fine, it is best to limit the amount of luncheon meats, especially those loaded with salt, antibiotics, hormones, nitrates and preservatives. Our little male had the worst case of motion sickness as a puppy, he just drooled and vomited even if he went for a walk. We gave him ginger pieces (I can't remember the name but they were sold at our local Pet shop) and it worked like a charm for him. But now he likes to chew on fresh parsley, basil or mint from the garden when his stomach is upset, and that seems to help him alot. Also, check out this link ...it is brilliant. http://lowchensaustralia.com/health/carsick.htm We used our own version of this method when he was a pup and swear by it. Good Luck and Enjoy the great world of being a Yorkie Mommy!! |

| Welcome to YT ! The very first day I brought home my brand new baby Pup Suzi she threw up all over my son . She was always car sick up unil about 10 months old. She grew out it though. I agree that the Kimbels and bits is a terrible food to be feeding a pup or any dog. Any lunch meat is also very bad too. It is processed meat and loaded with salt. this can cause a accute attack of prancretes sp .Check out the super prem. pet dog food list. And choose one esp. for puppies. Yorkies do not eat much, especially a puppy. Go for quality and nurition. they need all of this when growing. It is vital to a puppies growing and health. Congradulations on your new little yorkie puppy
