| Help with my sick puppy My 6 month old puppy went to get neutured and his pre op blood test showed his bun was slightly high. Later a ultrasound was preformed and it was found that his kidneys are abnormal. I was told evenually his kidneys will fail. Does anyone know if anything can be done to help him? |

| Poor baby. I can't really say much without knowing exactly what your vet diagnosed. I hope that someone can help you.

| Oh poor baby. I am so sorry for you. You may want to post this under sick, injured thread. People there would perhaps be able to help you. Someone will know what questions to ask the vet. Best of luck to you. |

| What was your puppies creatinine count? Is it possible that he was just dehydrated, this can increase the BUN. What exactly did the vet say the abnormality in the ultrasound was? Sure do hope the vet was wrong, how about getting a second opinion. I'll pray for your little guy...

| His creatine was 1.7 which the vet said is high for a puppy. The ultrasound found that his kidneys are marked. Scaring and Fibrosis were found. |
