Yorkie Talker | New Yorkie Hair Please bear with me...not sure if first question went through. I recently received a female yorkie for my birthday. She is very small (1.5 lbs) 5 months old with sparse hair. She has a little bit more around her face but still not very thick. She reminds me of a tiny deer. Is there anything I can do for this, is it normal? She is wonderful and seems to be very heathy. |

| Welcome to YT, and congratulations on your new baby!! Some yorkies just naturally have thinner hair than others. Sometimes a poor diet can contribute to thin hair. What food is she on? Have you had your vet examine her yet?

Yorkie Talker | I have her on puppy Science Diet and yes she's had all her shots and the vet's only comment was "she may or may not get more hair". She is a little doll but looks so fragile and everyone asks me what kind of dog she is. the hair close to her skin is thicker but very short. Her coloring is perfect. I just worry she will never have any hair. |
