| Getting STURDY Well after all my hoopla about foods and skinny legs....Cowboy seems to be getting Sturdier. After trying to get him to eat a zillion different things... I found that feeding him meat and veggies is seeming to work for him. I'm feeding Chicken and beef and veggies. A bit of rice and some other things . Actually it's not really any more work because we always have leftovers. I can feel a difference when I pick him up. While he is still thin, he just seems to have a sturdier feeling instead of a fragile feeling to him.

| That is great that he is feeling better. Just be careful about giving too much people food. There have been dogs on here that got Pancreatus and the cause was people food.

| Pancreatus from people food? i wonder how that happened. You'd think feeding them just ingredients that are in dog food anyway would be ok...do you have any more info on that? |
