| Yorkie pup weight up and down!pls help! Hi i have a yorkie pup he is 3 1/2 months now and he weighs 1.25kg....hes very small but he gets plenty of food hes actually eating what a 2kg pup should be eating according to the food guidlines!i feed him 4 times a day so he eats like every 4 hours through the day but after about 3 hours after his feed he wants to be fed he cries and he was even shaking today. so i end up feeding him after just 3 hours. he is wormed every month at the moment but we cannot flea him yet as the vet told us not to until he is 2 kg but i cant see any signs of fleas and our other dogs are both flead every month! we weigh him regullary and his weight is always up and down.....we increase his food because hes lost weight and he puts it on for like 2 days then we check him again and hes lost it again he doesnt seem to be weak he has lots of energy but its just around feeding he seems to be starving he absolutly goes mad trying to get in the dish and everything and he cant go for more than 3-4 hours without food!sorry fo the length of the post..im just worried and trying to give as many details as poss!pls could anyone help or has anyone experienced this! thanks

| I think most people on here free feed thier puppies, Maybe he is just a growing boy!! Where he is so small why dont you just put the food down and let him eat when ever he needs to! |
