| Jackson humps his bear like crazy!!! OK, I must admit, I think it's pretty funny and laugh every time at how fast he goes at that thing (he will be panting afterwards and out of breath - Good lord) But maybe that's just my sense or humor lol. He's never tried to hump me. Humping is a mix of a dominance issue as well as testosterone. I'm hoping once he gets neutered, it will help him out.

| Rico is just now starting to grab his Kangaroo and go at it. It's a big dolly and he like to wrestle with it. He also started to hump my arm if I have a toy in it. Since I do not want my arm to be his LOVE toy, we are making an appointment ASAP to have him neutered. I hope it helps, I really don't want him humping all things great and small

Senior Yorkie Talker | Awe, he's making baby teddy bears. This is what I used to tell my son, 2 at that time, when he used to ask what my old Yorkie was doing with my slippers....hehehehehe. He used to actually get airborne in the process. The males tend to be very odd, especially when they still have their ornaments. Now, my male pup, almost 8 months old, gets on my female's head and humps her backwards. As a mating dance, he sticks his butt in her face and chews on her facial hair. I hold him up to my face, look him in those huge brown eyes and tell him, "Jesse, you need courting lessons!" |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Quick Fix Gently grab him at the very moment the humping starts, place him down on the floor (whether you are sitting on the couch or laying in bed) tell him "No!" without his name in the command. The command should be firm and assertive, but not a yell or scream. Keep doing this over and over again. When he is sitting down on the floor and behaving, reward with a treat. You have to make sure you put him down the second he begins the humping. They have no memory capacity, which is why rubbing their nose in their accidents is fruitless. I hope this helped....Blessings, Lisa, Lilly & Jesse (Humper Jr.) |
