I think I know what you are referring to. Chloes eyes tear alot and then she geets the goop. We just have to clean them daily because the goop/moisture can smell funky.

I wish there was a way to make them not water so much though since it gets the hair all stuck together....

We get the funky smell also. We just started the Apple Cider Vinegar in her water today. We shall see if it helps her eyes as it has helped others on this forum. We purchased the Braggs ACV as suggested.

Penny also had ear mites when we took her in the other day, so that might make her ears smell, I don't know.

Have you tried cleaning her ears,my dexie`s earwax smells horrible and when i clean on a daily basis it doesnt smell.hope it helps.

it smells great and i use it on my maltese

also i use Tear Stain Remover | The Safe and Effective solution for Cats and Dogs by Eye Envy as it sounds like it is the eye area that smells

Let me just say, she is a wonderful little dog and we love her. She's a pistol to groom and wash, but she's a really good girl in every other way.
I had no idea there'd be this smell and it's so powerful & pervasive. Right now I'm washing all the bedding trying to get it out.

sounds like the eye boogie stinky smell to me - i would get the Tear Stain Remover | The Safe and Effective solution for Cats and Dogs by Eye Envy and clean eyes each morning it will help

and yes tear staining is more when teething

you can use a baby absorbing bib and get the bottles u use to dye your own hair from sally's beauty supply and wash area with spa lavish then use the bottle with water and bib and clean as that stuff smells good so between those two things it should help

I have a maltese and i use both of those products on her as she gets pretty stinky from the eye boogies but my two yorks do not

also use spring bottled water for her not tap
