| Not much weight gain? Chloe's last vet visit before yesterday was about 3 weeks ago so here is her weight for the visits Visit1...11 weeks- 2lbs Visit2...14 weeks- 2.98 lbs Visit3...17 weeks- 3.05 lbs so in 3 weeks she gained pretty much nothing! The time from her 1st visit to her second she gained a pound! So I guess she is not slowing in her growth. Her mom and dad were 5 and 6 lbs so I expect her to be about that. Anyone else have a baby that stopped growing alot pretty early on around 17 weeks? I'm thinking maybe she'll get a spurt later on???

| hmmmm my bree was kind of like that....when i got her a little over 12 weeks, she was 1lb 4oz (i am very well educated in the needs of the smaller yorkies and this should not be a reflection on her breeder - we talked extensively about me getting her at 12 weeks vs. waiting until she was 14-16 ) she got to about 2 lbs FINALLY at about 5 months and has only gained 4 oz in the past 4 weeks...i think her growth really slowed down at about 5 months and at 6 months old she is 2.25 lbs i expect her to put on a little more weight over the next 4-6 months but she really already hit her growth spurt already and her weight gain has really slowed down hope that helps

| Laddy was 1lb 4oz at 9 weeks 2lb at 14 weeks 2lb 6oz at 19 weeks He just turned 5 months today and still at the same weight I sincerely hope he is still going to grow Right now he is very healthy but way to tiny he seems to always be jumping off things no matter how hard we try to stop him and won't use steps so he needs more size to him. |

| When I got my girl at 4.5 months, she was 4.13 lbs. A month later, she was still 4.13 lbs. Forward another 3 months later, she weighed in at 5 lb 10 oz. Another 3 months after that, she gained another 5 oz. At 1 years old, she weighs in at 6.3 lbs. And I've been trying to grow out her hair except it's happening slowly, so not too much of it is hair weight. If yours is following the charts, maybe she'll finish smaller than her mom and pop. |

| What are you feeding her? and how often? I had my Suzi Shaved down, and was surprised as to how skinny she really was. So I started feeding her a high protein canned diet. Now she looks so much better. I am happy she has filled out some. It only took a few weeks You can also mix the canned and kibble together.

| She was just eating Eukanuba and SD mixed...aka Crap. I know I know that is what the breeder said she was using and to continue. Expecially since she is sooo picky and I didn't want to sicken her from the change . Now that shes a little older and able to switch we have switched to Wellness Puppy. Only the hard food. Maybe that will plump her up.

| All of you girls with the skinny puppies need to send them to me...we don't seem to have the 'thin' issue in this house! I'll fatten them up for you and then...(maybe)...send them back home! Seriously...for those of you wanting to fatten them up a bit you can use some cooked rice over their food. I feed my crew their dry kibble with rice, meat and veggies or rice, pasta and cheese over the top twice a day and the rest of the day they have dry food available. I can see the 'benefits' after only a few weeks...be careful though or they'll have pinchable little butt cheeks like my girls do! Now I need to cut back on the rice a little... |
