Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Another story about the poisonous Sago Palm Poisonous Sago Palm This is a sad story about a Lab who ate some Sago Palm and eventually died from it. As many of us here know, Zoeybear lost her Chloe very recently from eating the same thing - and it was just heartbreaking. The attached story also has a small picture of the Sago, in case you're unfamiliar with it. BEWARE of this extremely poisonous plant!

| I have a huge one in the back yard and planned on putting a little fence around it to keep mine out. I did not know they were poisonous when we planted it years ago. I have not seen them around it but better safe than sorry. Thank you for reminding me!!

| The article says 50-70 percent of ingestions are fatal. I immagine many of the ones who survive are probably left with severe liver damage as well. This plant is just SO deadly.
