| chloe's itching and hes a house dog Chole and i live in a condo across from the beach in jupiter, fl. The living room is white as well as the couches, (i would see bugs if he had them). He goes out on the terrace to make which is very clean, he get his exercise running through out the home. So he's never out side unless i take him. The past few days he's been itching, got got him groomed in a schnauser cut, very cute but not much hair. He is on advantage by the vet. The groomer suggested vectra3d, the nurse in the vets office said what he's on is better. I can not stand to see my poor little guy scratching himself. There are not red marks yet. What should i do. Thanks for your help Last edited by newissue; 03-21-2009 at 04:08 AM. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Did the groomer use anything different? Did the groomer rinse him off well. Since he's covered for fleas it sounds more like something from the groomer or it's just dry skin. If it keeps up I'd take him to the vet to make sure he doesn't have a skin infection. Also when did you have him groomed last? Did this start before or after that? |

| He needs to see the vet for a diagnosis. If you are sure it isn't fleas, it could be environmental allergies, food allergies, infection, yeast issues, mites, etc.

YT 3000 Club Member | Look up apple cider vinegar and mix with water and put it on your dog, chester has very sensitive skin and has envirmential allergies, have you used anything different as far as cleaning stuff, laundry soap, I use all free and clear and use bounce with no perfumes and dyes. |
