| Thanks Crystal, I will make sure not to use the heartguard while I use the Sentinel. I will start up heartguard again when the cold weather starts and stop the Sentinel at that time.

| hi there, we use frontline here in the uk, but also use spot on which kills fleas ear mites and ticks, it is very good, also a tip for you, lavender oil kills fleas too, if you put a drop in a jug and add warm water to it then get some cotton wool and rub your dog over with it, you will see them die off, just thought this might help. |

| My vet put Reuger on Comfortis and we're on our third month. I really like it. I don't know how it will do with ticks but I'm sure that I'll find out this summer. It's just a small pill that you give every 30 days. It's suppose to kill the fleas within 30 minutes of getting on them. We were having a problem with flea dermititus and it's a lot better than it was before we started the Comfortis.

| Can you get K9 Advantix online or do you need a prescription from a vet? Approx. how much does it cost?

| My Snickers is 2-1/2 and 6 lbs. I have used BioSpot on him the last two summers and he has had no reactions. I have never seen a flea or tick on him so I think it works pretty good. I get it over the counter and it is $10-$12 for 3 doses. He loves it outside and when it is nice, we are out all the time. We live by a river and timber so I watch for "critters" on him very closely. So far so good!

| My vet recommended Comfortis and Sentinel. By tremendous luck he also owns Yorkies (he has 3) and its what he uses on his. Where he and I live we don't get many ticks so I'm not sure how it works with them...he mentioned it but I don't really remember what he said. I gave Nemo his first dose of Comfortis this morning and he has pretty much stopped scratching so I'm very excited and I know he's relieved. |

| We have used Nature's Guardian by Seageant's (very light green box) that you can purchase at Wal-Mart. It is a bunch of essential oils that you put on them. Our outside dogs used to get ticks all the time off our several acre, mostly woods, property. Now it is rare and we put peppermint or clove pure essential oil on a tick if they get one. The Nature's Guardian isn't like the one month stuff, you might have to put it on them a few times a month during the summer if your dog is in an infested environment. (I suggest you dust your yard with DE if you have an enclosed yard, not an option for us.) We don't even put it on our dogs in the winter here in Central Texas. |
