| solid gold wee bits question Laci came to me on bil jac I wanted to switch her since I know that its not that great of a food , so she was slowly switched to wellness, she doesnt really care for it to much my friend who also has a yorkie puppy same age is on weebits, is it okay to feed this to a puppy since it is NOT puppy food? Laci seemed to gobble up her food but left her wellness! I think she may prefer the smaller kibble, it seems perfect size too, can anyone tell me if they feed this and if its okay? |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Do you mean "Just a Wee Bit Bison"? That's considered an adult food, technically, but that doesn't mean for sure that it won't work for your baby. What is the little stinker's age?

| If your puppy is approching neutering/spaying age then wee bits is fine since you should start transitioning to adult food shortly after that anyway. But if your puppy still has a couple months to go at least, feed puppy food. The people at Solid Gold says it's ok to feed Wee Bits as puppy food - that is it is of course okay to feed any puppy adult food. But your puppy, like human, requires a lot more nutrition for better growth while in puppy stage. So you need to feed the puppy food since it contain a bit more nutrition and fat that a normal active puppy needs. |

Solid Gold Hundchen Flocken Puppy Solid Gold Hundchen Flocken Puppy is a must have for your growing dog! It is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO dog food nutrient profiles for growth of dogs. Solid Gold WolfCub Puppy (Bison) High energy diets, like most puppy foods, can promote rapid growth in large breed puppies, which can play a role in the development of orthopedic diseases. WolfCub Large Breed Puppy Formula contains a lower amount of protein, fat, and calories than Hudnchen Flocken Puppy Food to help control the growth process. Research shows that a Calcium level of 1.5% or less is the most suitable for a large breed puppy.
