Well that would probably make a cute commercial, but it's not the best way to choose a food. Many breeders recommend switching to adult food around 8 months, you can see on the puppy food bag, what your particular manufacture suggests, Yorkies are full grown faster than the larger breeds, and it's thought that you want to switch them after there bones have formed. I would try to get the most nutritious food, and see if he would eat it, mix 1/4 of the adult food into his bowl and do this at every feeding. Second day mix half and half, and so on. The slower you go the less likely to have tummy upsets such as vomiting and diarrhea.
