| Marley Has Worms - Yuck Hey everyone - I knew that my little boy had worms and he has received a de-wormer. So, I was cleaning him bum because he has some loose stools and saw little squirmy worms! *gag* I know this is what's supposed to happen when they DO have worms. But, how long should this last? When should I expect to see no worms? See, I got him from a gal who SAYS he got this dewormer but, I'm feeling skeptical whether he really did or not. Maybe I'm just being a worried mommy. I will make him a wellness appointment and get his vaccines in about 2 weeks - he is barely 6 now. What do you think? Heidi |

| Wait, did you get him a dewormer or you are just trusting the breeders word? Because if he has worms, you gotta get rid of them. You can buy deworming kits at stores but most people don't recommend that because there is SO many different types of worms. I'd just take him to the vet. They're extremely common in puppies but you got to get it taken care of asap.

| I'll make him an appointment tomorrow. He's not from a breeder, hes actually from a lady who took him in from a shelter because they would have killed him. He was only 2 weeks when they took him. The gal I "adopted" him from said they gave him dewormer at the shelter, which makes sense to me that I'm seeing a few worms now. I just, am concerned because he's so tiny. I know hes not quite old enough for shots but I'll definitely make a wellness exam appointment in the morning to be safe. Btw, I just got him this afternoon so I haven't let it go :-) |
