Interceptor and Heartgard are okay.
Use Heartgard Plus if you want to deworm (intestinal parasites) every month.
Use Sentinel (Interceptor and Program) if you want to stop the flea life cycle.

Fronline is not a heartworm preventative.

There are others like Revolution and Advantage Multi none of which I would choose.

We use Interceptor for heartworms.

My vet just gave me heartworm med. (interceptor) to start my puppy on yesterday. She is only 14 weeks old, is this too young? She is 2.9 lbs.

I'm planning on getting Interceptor and Advantage today. I have a 2 lb yorkie (11 weeks old) and a 12 lb yorkie (10 months). Is it OK to split the dosage between the two of them? Or should I give one full dosage to each?

Ok, this may be a really stupid question, but is necessary to give heartworm meds? My lil one is 2 and has never been on them???
