Use Heartgard Plus if you want to deworm (intestinal parasites) every month. Use Sentinel (Interceptor and Program) if you want to stop the flea life cycle. Fronline is not a heartworm preventative. There are others like Revolution and Advantage Multi none of which I would choose. We use Interceptor for heartworms.

| My vet just gave me heartworm med. (interceptor) to start my puppy on yesterday. She is only 14 weeks old, is this too young? She is 2.9 lbs.

| I'm planning on getting Interceptor and Advantage today. I have a 2 lb yorkie (11 weeks old) and a 12 lb yorkie (10 months). Is it OK to split the dosage between the two of them? Or should I give one full dosage to each?
