				   | What is the difference? I know that CORE is protein rich. Why would I feed one over another? How do I know which to pick? |

				   | Core is grain free- some people- myself included feel that dogs dont' need grain- and this is why the protein levels are higher. |

				   | The core (which is what I fed ) is grain free. The super5mix isn't. They are both great foods, but I prefer the grain free for my dogs.

				   | What is the difference? CORE is grain-free, and inclusive of more meat content. (hence more protein) Super5Mix has a few [grain] fillers. I know that CORE is protein rich. Why would I feed one over another? Grain is not a natural part of a dog's diet, so it is avoided by many. How do I know which to pick? The choice is obviously up to you, but I would recommend the CORE. |

				   | Thanks so much!! I think when I do switch Charlie to adult food - I will go with CORE. Now I just have to decide if CORE is better or Solid Gold Wee Bits ... they have been my top two choices. |

				   | Wellness Core was just recommended to me. What is the protein % and has anyone had any problems with it? Has it been included in any of the recalls or are there stories about dogs getting sick from it? Also, how is their stool on WC? And last, but not least, I've heard a higher protein level in dog food can cause them to eat poo...has anyone had issues with this little problem while feeding WC? |

				   | Something about the Innova formula change made Tatum really sick. She had bloody diarrhea - the first two times she got the diarrhea, she got better by being switched to a bland prescription diet and taking antibiotics but the third time, it was bloody and really scared us. It was then that I realized that although she hadn't changed food brands, they did have a formula change on the new bag she was eating and it finally dawned on me that something new in it just didn't agree with her at all. The new formula might be giving your's loose stools.
