Mimi & Momo has red yeast staining problem...would this product work for that? I did purchase eye envy, but haven't tried it yet...it says it contains all natural ingredients, but I don't know.

Changing the water does work for some, but I just use the commercial dog eye wipies and do this daily. They both get eye goo, not bad, but it's yucko if you let it go longer than a few days. All of my Yorkies have had them and I am on number 5.

Do anyone who got the calm eyes for a while now have any type of feedback!? I am waiting before I order. I did notice drastic differences in eye gunk on days I give Snickers fresh fruit and when I don't. They are terrible when we do. Yesterday, he had apples, and I had to work hard to get the dried gunk of in the evening. I think it's the juice. I might get a food dehydrator (saw em at Sears the other day) and dry fruit for him b/c he does love his fruit.

I've only been using Calm Eyes for a week now. I don't notice any change.... hmmm....probably too new, yet...

Carmen, thanks so much for the link to the site that sells Calm Eyes. I ordered some and can't wait to get it. My babies have gunky eyes all the time and run from me when they see me coming with a wet washcloth. LOLOL

we have been using for a week now. Still getting charlie use to it. I cleaned his eyes once a day with those little cotton pad from the make up aisle. They recommend twice a day around the eyes. I tried to clean around his whole eyes but he doesn't like it so for right now I only clean near the corner where the gunk and tears are. He still have eye gunk but less now. I have to agree with others that his eyes do look brighter. I asked my husband today to see if he notice anything different about charlie's eyes. He said they look much better. So I guess we are getting results but slower since we are only using it once a day. We are going to be increasing to twice a day. I am going to try cleaning around his whole eye to see if we will see more result.

We are also using the calm ear. Nothing is wrong with charlie's ears. I got the calm ear to clean his ears to make it smell good. His ears do smell much better.

i have been using this for a couple weeks now :) i do not use it every day, probably more like every other day

i can tell a HUGE difference in bentley and miss buffey. bentley always had tons of junk in the corners of his eyes and had really bad tear stains. bentleys eye boogers are about 90% better now and his tears stains - although still there - are much better. i am very happy! :D

miss buffey just started having some tear stains and i believe this is helping brighten up the area and lighten the stains. but since her eyes did not have as many issues are bentleys, her results are not as pronounced.

Thank you very much for the update! I oredered the big bottle last night!:) I have to clean Snick's eyes out everyday anyway, why not just add this to the routine to see if it helps.

you welcome ladies, I am so glad, Dr. Wills recomended this product to me, my Harry boy's eyes look a LOT better and I am using calm ears on them too.. it keeps the ears healthy and smelling really good..

I have been using it for about 3 weeks and see a diffrence :) I only bought the small bottle and im doing it once a day, It says to use 2x a day, There eyes dont seem to gump up as much and there alot clearer :) I like this product and will be ordering the bigger bottle so i can bump up to 2x a day.

can you tell me how exactly the eyes look better? from what i understand, this product is used externally to wipe away the boogers and teh stains right? so its just used to clean what is already there? has anyone noticed that its stopped some of the production of goo and tears?

well for bentley - for whatever reason - it has cut down tremendously on his eye gunk :) i used to have to wipe the corners of his eyes at least twice per day and each time there would be a lot of junk. since i started using calm eyes, we only wipe once per day and there is only a little gunk lol :) oooh and he used to have this area of hair that would be soaking wet (hair below the inside corners of his eyes) under each eye and this has been much better too

this is just our experience but i am really loving this product for bentley :p

thanks for the report! morgan usually has the wet tracks going down her face too, which eventually get hard and crusty. and when i try to clean her face in between baths it usually starts to smell. so i want to try to prevent this. however she has http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...richiasis.html and its an ongoing battle.

oh wow! the wet tracks is exactly what i meant! and your post on trichiasis makes a lot of sense! i have actually gotten really close to bentleys face to see if he had little hairs poking him. i think that may be his problem too! i am glad you were able to find out why she had this problem :thumbup:

I wipe Charlie's eyes on monday. I haven't since wipe his eyes. I check his eyes earlier today. There are no eye gunk. The tearing is still there but less. The tearing area looks drier today than before.

Good idea!

Now that i've had the doctor point out what was wrong with morgan's eyes i can see it too. i'm gonna try to get pictures to post and maybe that will help explain and show it better. In order to see it i have to kinda open her eyes really wide and stretch the corner open. morgan tolerates it but i think she's wondering what the hell i'm doing to her face. hahaha

Been using it for about 2 weeks and no change...still alot of gunk!:( Washing entire eye area once a day, does help to moisten dry gunk...oh well! Hmph!

I've been using the calm eyes on morgan for a week now and i do see less gunk under her eyes. i use it once a day

I've been using calm eyes once a day as well and have seen less eye gunk after a weeks use. BTW, does anyone know how I can wash out tear stains from their face. I've noticed recently that Cassi's hair on her face is reddish brown and her head is a tan color. So it looks absolutely awful...and it makes her face appear dirty all the time. Any recommendation/suggestion?? :confused:

Just wanted to give my 2 cents on the calm eye product....

Not workin out so well for us :(:thumbdown

We've been using it twice a day (ok some days i forgot to do it at night i'd say only about 3 times though) for 2 weeks now. I haven't seen hardly any difference :(

Tear stains are still there, boggies every morning and every evening (mind you theyre not AS big but i think that's b/c i do clean them more often...?)

SO... i am going to continue to use it for a few more weeks as Honey is starting to get used to me cleaning her eyes. But so far it's no good :thumbdown

anyway, that's just MY experience

I was in the process of ordering the Calm Coat Eye Cleaner and they wanted to charge me almost $30 USD for shipping.

Have any Canadian tried it? Do you know where I can buy it in Canada?
