AWW, girl I am so glad to hear is working for your babies too..:) I did the same, I ordered the 4 onz when I first got it, I am ordering a couple of the big bottles this week..

I ordered a lrg bottle and it was shipped out on Wednesday the 11th, USPS from Florida, I received it today on the West Coast....Fast Shipping :) I will give it a try this evening after my lil one finishes her bully stick. :)

After reading everyone's great reviews I decided I too needed to order this (I just ordered the big bottle) :) Phoebe gets such yucky gunk...hope this helps :thumbup: Thanks for the info!

I really don't have this problem with Winston, but the testimonials are awesome...I'll keep this in mind, if I should ever need a remedy! Thanks for sharing!!!

I have 4 furkids and all 4 get their eyes cleaned in the am and before going to bed.

Buffy gets it real bad because of allergies and age. She is really the one I'm hoping will benefit the most from this product..... oh just placed me order too:D

I know many of you have ordered it, but it sounds like carmen in nj is the only one that has been using it for some time. Some of you say that there is an improvement, but nobody has said that the eyes have cleared. Since many of you have ordered it, I hope you will keep this thread going and let us know. I looked for the ingredients, and couldn't find them to the Calm eyes, could anyone list the ingredients?

I just checked my bottle and all it lists as far as ingredients is: "Natural eyebright herb".:confused::confused: Whatever that might be??? :confused::confused:

Well that's not a good sign. :D Unfortunately the USDA doesn't have much control over herbs, and claims can be made that have no truth. Not saying that this is true about this product, but I like to see scientific evidence.

I am sooooooo glad the issue of ingred. was brought up... I am anxioius to find out myself what is in it. I have ordered some for Maddie but used it:rolleyes: I am going to wait before I do to see what is in it. Thanks for the posts!

Not sure if your puppies have the same problem my Chip has...but he is not producing enough water in his tears and that is why he was getting eye gunk/boogers. (The vet tested his eyes with some little tapes) He suggested that we use "GenTeal" for severe dry eyes twice a day - you can get it at any pharmacy. It is OTC for humans. There are no preservatives and there has been a great improvement.

I have emailed ClearCoat twice and never gotten a response. :mad: Anyone else had better luck finding out what is in thier ClearEyes product?:confused::confused::confused:

I know for Maddie's eyes a vet recommended to me just using regular eye wash daily. This contains purified water too. I am not sure whether to use ClearEyes or not now :confused:

Eyebright has been used for centuries to treat eye irritation. Its Greek name, Euphrasia, comes from Euphrosyne, one of the three Graces, who was distinguished for her joy and mirth. The name is thought to have been given the plant because of its valuable properties as an eye medicine that preserved eyesight and so brought gladness into the life of the sufferer.

Eyebright is an antioxidant herb. Its antibiotic and astringent properties tighten membranes and mucus surrounding the eyes, effectively strengthening and improving circulation. Rich in vitamins A and C, eyebright also contains tannins that are beneficial for reducing inflammation.
Hope that helps. You can buy a little vial of it at Whole Foods or that sort of place.

I also use the calm eye cleaner and it really does work...I have two yorkies that have eyes that get gunk. And my Lexi is so much better have been using for a week...Shedoes not have matted eyes everyday anymore ..Its amazing

I have. I just did not like that they did not include thier product ingredients on their product.
I like to know exactly what I use on my girl;)

Sorry I do understand..But I'm pretty sure they are no going to put something in the product to make our dogs sick. To much of a risk...But I trust the product...My girl seems to like it ..I think it soothes her eyes.But to each there on...

I understand what u are saying but sometimes uuuuuuuuuu have to leave the research to the experts...I even listen to my vet....Sometimes that is strange to others...But he knows more than I do... I can onlyresearch so much about a product before all my research is not making any sense anymore. But like I said To Each their on...Good Luck...;)

meh huh? You're kidding right? I read EVERY label for everything I ever feed my human kids or hairy one. Just because someone has a piece of paper on their wall does not make them any smarter than me or you or anyone else. Good for Maddies mom for taking care of those things!

I just ordered the eye and ear treatment. I noticed yesterday that he was getting crusty under one eye. Can't wait to try them!

Anytime a company will not list ingredients exactly, I get a bit concerned. I try not to use products with "proprietary" ingredients because it may be that something they aren't listing is not exactly healthy. In this case, I would question their "small amount of preservatives". Preservatives are okay but what is it?

I think it's excellent when people research. There are sooooo many products on the market for animals that can be downright dangerous but they are trusted because the company claims they are okay. I'm not saying this product is one of them but I would want to know more also.
