My regular vet wanted $275 so I looked around and found a great vet who ONLY does spay and neuters at a seperate office 1 day a week. It was $65 total including anesthesia and everything else. While my dog was there she repaired a hernia for $10 more at my request(this was for one of my small recue babies). My dog was up running around by later that day with no complications and after a bit of time you couldn't even see any scar from the hernia operation part.

You can try looking up SNAP to purchase a low cost spay or neuter certificate.

thanks for the info. the one in garden grove says there booked til late sept earily oct but theres another Golden West Humane Society in long beach,ca. 562-423-8406 just called and made appointment for friday. cost 30.00 for under 30 pounds 10.00 for meds and 12 for ecollor total 52.00 thats wayyyy better than the 250.00 the vet wanted...thanks so much i love this site

Thats where I brought Gidget and i have no complaints like I had said before and I plan to bring her back when it is tine for shots too....they are great.
