Donating YT 11K Club Member | Weight issues I was wondering how i can make Sophie gain more weight. She's looking reallly skinny and she eats just fine, as much as the other 2 but for some reason i can feel all her bones. I give her treats, etc thru out the day, what can i do?

| Send her to me for a month or so . Actually, I'm frustrated by the opposite problem - cobby (chubby) Yorkie that is. I won't mention any names. He's so sensitive about this issue.

| Do you free feed or feed them individually? I thought my Megan, who is the biggest and alpha female, was eating as much as everyone else while free feeding too. However, I noticed her losing a little weight so I started watching closely and noticed at meal time she was only getting a few pieces of food and then watching everyone else eat. I didn't notice anything wrong before that because they weren't fighting over food or anything like that. I started fixing them a breakfast and a supper each day and I feed them in their kennels so I know everyone gets their fair share. Megan is now back to her 'normal' weight and we've had no more issues. |

| Two fatties here. I feed mine separately-Bubba eats by the counter in the kitchen and Sissy eats in the crate. That way he doesn't eat it all-she is a slow eater.

I feed them individually, usually 2 times a day but sometimes 3 and i also give them snacks thru out the day like veggies, fruits or their treats. Teddy and london are normal weight, sophie looks normal cause of all her hair i think but then when i bathe her i feel all her bones and she looks so skinny and she eats a lot.

| I have a little one too..thankfully she has always had a pretty good apetite..I feed her a mixture of canned meat & kibble..I leave a bowl of kibble down most of the day..she too has treats and snacks during the day and I sometimes mix a little cheese in wth her meat which she loves, she also likes a drink of Goats milk for breakfast and porridge or scrambled eggs.

| Be careful about adding too many sweet potatoes...when I did that they loved it but they also pooped several times a day and it was soft...yuk! I've been adding rice, carrots and green beans to the kibble for my babies and they love it...probably why they're all getting a little chubby though! |
